MATERIALS AND RESOURCES Instructional Materials: -Poster with pictures of healthy and unhealthy teeth. -Student journals -Pens/pencils -Paper -Resources about the teeth of different species (computers with Internet access, library resources, encyclopedias, etc.) -Handouts for students. Questions for Thought: --What is a cavity in dental terms? What is the common or colloquial definition of a cavity? How do these two definitions compare? --What are the different specialties in the dental field? --Would you want to be a dentist? Why or why not?
