It is hard to see Drug abuse into perspective of the whys and how’s when the individual is not a user. Some other conflicts would be that there is not enough support in this world to help Abusers get off the drugs they have been using. Having a drug problem in this world is the worst. Drugs take affect more then 20% million Americans(Addiction Center,2019). Drugs abuse has always been around. Street drugs have been a known illegal and dangerous epidemic in our would. Back in the 70s when marijuana was well known,

individuals used this as a gateway drug to more heavy and dangerous drugs. Heroin, cocaine and meth started to become bigger and bigger. The problem has always been there, but the problem gets bigger with drugs coming in from other countries and drug lords making new product that is heavier and more potent to kill someone that doesn’t know about the drug. There also are the hidden drug users that abuse the prescriptions that they receive from their doctors. Doctors are the drug dealers of the 21 st century. Its crazy to know that with a simple “my head hurts” or “I have really bad back pain” you can get anything you like from the doctor your seeing. Drugs in the eyes of a user are an essential that they need but it has caused so many problems for them that their life is at stake.
