Book of Optics, 37 books on different subjects Avicenna (ibn Sina): Author of 450, Aristotle’s philosophy and Galem’s “canon of medicine” Averroes (ibn Rushd): “the commentator” translated and commented on all available Aristotelian works, integration of Aristotle with islam Gerard of Cremona: wanted to make accessible to the Latin West all of the texts that had been uncovered. Translated 92 great works into latin (Aristotle, Euclid, Archimedes, Ptolemy)
