They should use wipe utility tools in overwriting the whole hard drive. It is also important to encrypt your data. This helps in keeping the browser more secure. To protect personal online transaction a person should use encryption software that can scramble information that is sent over the internet (Sweeny, 2002). Sharing information on social networking sites should be minimized because an unidentified person can retrieve information. Individuals should also desist from providing full names, phone numbers, or account numbers to the networking page. Other ways to ensure privacy is using security software, avoiding phishing emails, and locking up your laptop when not in use.
