Typically, the change manager pre-classifies incoming change requests that will be introduced, adapted (ifnecessary), and finally approved (or rejected) during the next changecontrol board meeting. A change request can be classified according to thefollowing three categories:Corrective requirement change:A change request is classified thusly ifthe reason for the change request is a failure of the system during itsoperation that can be attributed to an error in the requirements.
