The Medium is the Message: The way that they present the music through the media affects the way that we experience it. Mcluhan explains this in the context of a lightbulb. Electric light without anything to light up it means nothing (this is the medium). The message is when you take the medium to eluminate the content. It shapes the way you are able to view it. “putting something in a certain light” The light when given the opportunity to gives us all the message. If it’s not lit up, you can’t understand that.
