acting as project manager. With Ivana being the owner of ICS, Inc. I think it’s important that the team keeps her up to date on the project. And in my experience with this type of manager, it helps to try to anticipate what they want and try to stay a step ahead of them. 3.I believe Ivana behaves the way she does is because of what she has been through to get where she is. In the case study, it mentions how she had to raise her siblings, work, and go to school at the same time. So it seems that she is self-motivated, has had to work extremely hard and give up certain things to get to where she is. I believe that she thinks her employees should be more like her. In her opinion, I think she believes that her employees should give up things outside of work to do better at work and they should be as self-motivating as she was. I also believe that she has confidence in her employees to complete the project in the period she wants or she would not be taking a vacation. 4.This question is difficult to answer. I do believe that someone needs to approach Ivana and discuss her management style to help improve work place morale. Unfortunately, I do not think Ivana would listen. She seems to be the type of person where she believes everything should be done her way and as she says. I do not think her business can continue to be successful with the way she is behaving. Eventually her employees will grow tired of it and quit. Therefore, in my opinion the best way to approach this would beto have one person sit down with Ivana and discuss the employee’s issues. The meeting should be scheduled when there is no big projects going and the person in the meeting should try to phrase the complaints where they do not come off sounding as if they are attacking her. I also think that they should suggest possible solutions to the issues as well.I would hope that Ivana could see her mistakes and take the meeting to heart to better her company.
