Describe the value in strength-based solutions.I believe that strength-based solutions are highly effective and provide clients with the best shot of success while self-esteem and encouraging abilities and often focus on the negatives. Committing to utilizing familiar strengths and resources helps find solutions. Assessments can provide a great opportunity to explore strengths of the family unit as a whole, as well as each individual (Holosko, et. al., 2013). When clients are working from a strength-based perspective, they begin to see their goals as actual possibilities. Operating from a strengths-based perspective does not neglect the serious nature of the family’s issues at hand, instead it incorporates the understanding of the risk involved with the family’s situation while utilizing a strength-base approach to it. According to (Holosko, et. al., 2013), an understanding that a focus on strengths does not diminish the importance of identifying risk and safety issues and finding ways to protect clients from harm and causing harm.References.Holosko, M.
