Telehealth/ telemedicine scheduling an initial or first consultation was only possible by a direct patient- doctor relationship in a health care facility before 2016. The Arkansas State Act 203 of 2017 unlike the more restrictive laws from earlier years provided a comprehensive definition of telemedicine and telehealth (electronic communication provision) and today’s it is permitted the use of electronic medical communication between the patient and physician and allow allied communication technology to deliver health care services. Before to 2016 telemedicine application modalities was obstructive and challenging and tried to replace the direct contact with the physician at the doctor’s office. The Amendment of September of 2016 and the successive and more inclusive Act “203” of 2017 provided a broader availability of telehealth technology across the State through real- time audio/video interaction. Arkansas State no longer is the most restrictive State for telemedicine/telehealth programs. Act 203 cleared the way for home-based health care in Arkansas rural communities and difficult accesses districts. * Sources: NEJM Catalyst. (2018)

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
