Analysis of the work styles and personalities of Thomas Green and Frank Davis Thomas Green and Frank Davis are having clashes in the workplace mostly due to office politics and power dynamics, plus a difference in work styles and personalities. Thomas Green is obviously a person who wants to climb the ranks and as such wants to showcase his abilities to the supervisors. His very young and willing compared to Frank Davis who is much more experienced and also had Green’s job in the past. Green is described as a charismatic person who can sell ideas easily to clients and he would rather hack the issues out face to face than use presentations, charts and memos. Frank Davis obviously has a lot of experience at Dynamic Displays as he had been there for 17 years and has also held about five different positions at the company. From his criticism of Green, it seems that Frank is a guy who likes to keep to schedules and he prefers to use charts and presentations when working. As a person who worked so long at the company, he must be more accustomed to a certain way of communication and work methods as a habit.
