Prepare selection report (using Appendix 5) After the completion of referee check, complete the selection report for each candidate. Use selection report template (Appendix 5) to guide your work. 5. Write email to unsuccessful candidate and respond to email from the unsuccessful candidate. Write email to the unsuccessful candidate advising the university’s decision. You received the following email from one of the earlier unsuccessful candidates, Bob Falter, asking why he was not selected for the job. Dear Human Resources Officer I was very disappointed not to have been selected for the position of Human Resources Advisor and do not understand why, as I believe I have all of the required skills and knowledge. Can you explain why I did not get the position? I would also like to know who got the role and their details to help me understand why I did not get this role. Inform the candidate the purpose of the induction, as well as the date and time of the induction. 8.
