Kun had made lots of enemies. He went to war with Romania and his soldiers began deserting. Kun was caught between 2 fronts and lost his war. The soviet gov’t stepped down, and Kun Fled to Vienna and then Russia.After the Red terror came the “white terror”. After the treaty of paris was signed, all the big four left. The conference continued into 1920. After the big decisions were made, the discussion turned to Bulgaria, Hungary, etc.Bulgaria did not go to war over its borders. The Agrarian leader Alexandûr Stamboliiski wanted aunited Balkan state, but cared mrore about building an agrarian state at home.In the fall of 1919, the allies made claims for occurping countries to leave the land that was reserved for the Hungarians.Hungarians were considered the lowest of the low. Count Apponyi argued that the allies were treating Hungary unfairly, even in relation to other defeated states. Any change to the treaties already made would be betrayal. The Treaty of Trianon was signed, and to this day it was a day of national mourning In may, Polish troops took kiev, but eventually lost it to Russia.Piłsudski surrounded the Russians and pushed them back to the east. In loose co-operation with the newly established league of nations, the plebecites were monitoredJuly 1920: Arbitration of the final division of Teschen: Czechs got the railway link, even tho it wasmostly poles there.Three uprisings broke up in Silesia. Plebicites gave most of its industry to Poland. There was a plebecite in Sopron, which decided to stay in hungary. Residents of Vilnius voted to remain in Poland.Belarus and Ukraine were incorporated into the USSR.War between Greece and the ottomans broke out in 1919.

People in former Austrio-hungarian areas regarded themselves as more German.Transylvania had been oriented toward Vienna, not Bucharest. Former Hapsburg territories were elites.
