This report shows that IBM actively engages in s trategic sourcing as a means of procurement
process to coordinate all procurement functions. s to transition from tactical to strategic
procurement and proactive long-term planning. To do this, the Airbus organization strives to

continuously enhance its sourcing process via collaborative connections with external resources
and productive supplier markets to decrease costs and raise the value of products and services for
customers. Airbus has a global sourcing strategy whereby they assemble parts and equipment
from different companies, both local and international. The company is faced with key risks in
the procurement process, such as the dependence on suppliers, cyber insecurity, etc. However,
since procurement is not a 'risk-free' activity, it is recommended that the organisiza should
minimize risks and maximize opportunities that are accompanied by its dynamism and growth
