The challenges addressed in this essay require consultants to be adaptable, proactive and innovative. Consultants must always be up to date with new market trends and needs of the customer. For example, currently one of the consulting areas that have been most sought after by companies is related to Sustainability and Climate Change, a subject that was not even considered in the range of consultancy services 50 years ago. However, it is now an essential part of the company’s strategies to ensure its long-term objectives and compliance with international standards.
