It is how effective managers make certain that activities arecompleted as planned.Controllingon the other hand, is the process whereby managersmonitor and regulate how efficiently and effectively the organization and its members arecarrying out the activities essential to accomplish organizational goals.Controls operate in three modes in relation to time: feedforward, concurrent andfeedback.1.Feedforward Controlfocuses on the regulation of inputs(human, material andfinancial resources that flow into the organization)to make certain that they meet upwith the standards needed for the transformation process. Feedforward control also isoccasionally called preliminary control, pre-control, preventive control or steeringcontrol. These types of control are designed to detect deviation some standard or goalto allow correction to be made before a particular sequence of actions is completed.2.Concurrent Controltakes place while an activity is in progress.
