IMPACT OF PERSONALITIES AND DIVERSITY 5 Extraversion-25 Conscientiousness-43 Agreeableness-34 Emotionally stable-33 Openness to experience-26 I could definitely work on myself in these areas. There is always room for improvement and it looks like I really need it in extraversion and openness to experiences. Agreeableness and emotionally stable could also use improvement. Overall, I do not think that my scores are all that horrible. I am bashful so I do not like being put on the spot. Being the center of attention kind of brings out a strange side of me. I feel like I should have gotten more than a 33 for emotionally stable. I have a pretty clear head and am not prone to mood swings. I need to work on myself more and stop being so shy. How This Information Could Impact the Work of a Team In a team setting, my hesitation to speak up can make it difficult for team communication. Teams need to be able to speak freely with each other so that tasks can be completed. Agreeableness is needed in a team because this sensitivity for other’s opinions is important and willingness to help others can make it easier to complete tasks. The personality of everyone in a team can determine the success or failure of the team. Conclusion In conclusion despite the different personalities that we all have; our personalities balance out in some shape way or form. Not all teams share the exact same traits but they all do agree on what is important and get the job done. In some cases, personalities, do clash and at some point, there is a rough patch but in our group, we have a variety of agreeableness and openness, so we would be able to manage through those rough patches and complete assignment that is given to use. We all just must remember that no matter what environment that we are in our personalities are what sticks out and it depicts what future employers see in us. Explain the Impact of Diversity on an Organization Diversity is not just about race, gender, or ethnicity. Diversity is a variety of differences between people.
