After this, I’ll show some pictures from the text and ask the students to write predictions on what they’re going to learn in the first segment of text reading by looking at the pictures after students are finished with the task I’d ask them to read the text with me after finishing it evaluate the predictions. Then I’ll teach students strategies on how to predict these include paying close attention to the pictures and your predictions should be supported by the pictures as evidence. I’ll ask the students do the predictions with the second segment of the reading as well and evaluate their predictions this time by reading the selected text and discussing their predictions with me and I’ll ask each student what made them predict such scenario by looking at the picture and I’ll provide them feedback if they’re on right track or not. After the class session, I’ll ask students to select a book of their choice and practice the same method for reading text after writing down predictions and I’d provide feedback of the same. This way students can practice the skill and improve critical thinking while also gaining regular feedback from the educator. VII. The Assessment contains fill in the blanks and short answer questions and questions which should be answered orally with multiple-choice questions. The fill in the blanks includes questions such as the name of the main character and the author's name what is the book about? The short answer questions include sentences or phrases from a certain page of text and asking students to explain the meaning of the text or what was the author meant through it? and oral questions include what have you learned from reading this book and what do you think of kids with exceptionalities?
