3.Control adrenalinnervousness is mostly due to the negative symptoms of theadrenalin flow which is part of the body’s fight or fight response to stressfulsituations. When you’re at the line and your hands are shaking or your knees areweak, take three (3) or four (4) deep breaths. The extra oxygen has an immediatecalming effect. Shake out the tension through your wrist and hands. Tell everymuscle in your body to go loose. Now the adrenalin can work for you. Your reactiontime will decrease, your eyesight will improve, andyou’ll move quicker. Everyonegets nervous, even world class shooters. But at any level of competition, the abilityto win is the ability to control match nerves.
