Introduction Building an ethical foundation while participating in graduate studies is essential to a successful career. This foundation includes learning academic integrity and scholarly ethics and using these concepts in our professional practice. “Ethics education in nursing provides a critical foundation for addressing ethical questions that arise in the patient-provider relationship” (Hoskins, Grady, & Ulrich, 2018). Learning these fundamental practices will help us as healthcare professionals be able to provide the best care for our patients in the future. It is important to identify resources and strategies to help maintain integrity throughout our profession. Academic Integrity Writing assignments make up a large portion of graduate program workloads. As graduate students, we are expected to write at the scholarly level and have integrity as we do so.
