somewhere around the globe who succumbs to death due to the complications of unsafe abortion. Illegalizing abortion does not mean that the government would have minimized the number of terminations occurring. This actually drives pregnant women towards the people handling abortion in the black market; those who carry out the illegal and unsafe operations. This is almost becoming the number one cause of death in the entire country. Legalizing abortion is not allowing excess abortions to occur. Multiple countries which have allowed abortion do have a very low rate of abortion as compared to some countries where the act is still illegal. Countries such as Switzerland, Belgium, Germany together with Netherlands have legalized abortion and their rates of abortion are generally very low. What is the reason behind this? Countries which ban abortion on most cases also do ban or restrict the usage of contraceptives. In addition, they do not offer sex education which is very crucial to both men and women. If abortion is delivered as an option along a set of family planning methods then it would be very safe, legal and unique idea. On the part against abortion, it is the right to life of the fetus. Whether one is terminating the pregnancy moments after the fetus is already viable or after conception, it is all about the life of the human being. Eventually, the lives of both the women and the unborn babies have to be incorporated into this scenario. Abortion which is the forceful termination of pregnancy results in the death of the baby. It is all about taking the right to life of that baby. [ CITATION Deb18 \l 1033 ]. The Unborn Victims of Violence Act, of 2004 in the US states that anyone who involves in the conduct which violates the provisions of the law that are outlined in subsection (b) and thereafter leading to the death or injury of the unborn is guilty of murder.
