Use the straightedge to draw an angle. Label it ABC. Beside ABC, use the straightedge to draw . Your constructions should be larger than the illustrations. 2. Place the compass point at B. Draw an arc that intersects the sides of ABC. Label the intersections M and N. 3. Keeping the same compass setting, place the compass point at X and draw an arc that intersects . Label this intersection P. 4. On ABC, set the compass at point N. Adjust the compass so that the tip of the pen is on M. ( You are measuring the distance from M to N.)
