In the group, two out of six scored the defender personality. When it came to mind, Jessica scored a 68% in introverted while Monique scored a 56%. In the energy category, Monique scored 63% in observant while Jessica scored a 57%. In the nature category, Monique scored 64% in feelings, while Jessica scored a 58%. In the tactics category, Monique scored an 82% in judging, while Jessica scored a 65%. In the final category, identity, there were two different outcomes. Monique scored 83% in assertive, while Jessica scored a 56% in turbulent. Analyzing Scores as a Work Team After reviewing our results of our Team Personality Test, it revealed that as future health care managers we all have strong personalities. Relatively, the information retrieved is valuable for each team member to know about the other individuals in this small team. We are confident, and we are primarily the popular consuls; although most consul personalities have different trait percentages. These traits and personality information is beneficial to each other in several areas. Let’s look at judging: the percentage was different for all team members. For example, in a managerial meeting, two team members discussed the performance of an employee they both supervise. The team member with the lower percentage in judging personality trait, Adelina, recognized and stated that Shelia, who has a higher percentage in judging, said the employee was hypocritical of her character. Adelina warned Shelia, she could be called in by upper management to be questioned and suffer consequences for not offering developmental training to an employee but instead slander the employee. This employee could report to you with a fault of accusing her of incompetence in her job performance. As a manager in a diverse industry, not taking proper action would disqualify your credibility and question your management skills. As the conversation continued, Desmin who was also at the team meeting interjected and suggested to change the tactics and how to address the supervised employee. Desmin could assist as her personality had a stronger strategy for people mastery. Though some people think diversity is simply demographic, it is not. Diversity is the variance of informational differences of an individual’s education, experiences, goals, and values. Personality and Abilities Impact Organization's Performance An organization’s performance consists of how much effort employees put into their team. The employee’s abilities and personalities are what makes an organization successful. How well employees work together to achieve their goal is what makes an organization come alive and takes them to the top.
