on a social level. Personally, I support people in their choices and actions. Even if I do not agree with them. We as human being do the things we do for one reason or another. It is not my place or position to pass judgement. I believe that unconditional positive regard is an attitude not an action. I do not have to like someone or like what they say or do, but I will respect their choices to do or say the things they do. If that makes sense. What research design(s) did Rogers use in his studies? Do you think Rogers conducted his research ethically? Why or why not? I feel his research was mostly experimental and quantitative. It was new for its time and because of that I think he would have been considered unethical in some of his work. However, modern times would disagree and would find his ethical standards acceptable. Rogers. He had the best interest of his clients in mind, and was one of the first people to implement the use of the term client, versus patient. He really paved the way for research in this area.
