would have a greater concern and be less free of fear due to the numbers being higher for women than for men. It’s all in the numbers. Although women do have reason to be less free from fear, we all should be concerned as a nation. In President Barack Obama’s speech, he says, “We stand together and we work together and we bleed together and we build together, in good times and in bad.” The rights we have as now were way more than in the 1960’s and before and we will continue to gain more rights if the entire U.S stands together and fights for them. We all have the right to feel fear and we all have the right to fight for them. No matter what race, gender, etc. you are, we all experience some level of fear when it comes to our nation. In Franklin D. Roosevelt’s speech, he says, “A good society is able to face schemes of world domination and foreign revolutions alike without fear.” Both President Obama and Franklin D. Roosevelt gave great speeches with good details and strong points which helped to shape our nation. Over time, women have gone on strikes and have fought for equality since the earliest of times. Every day, women fight for their rights so it becomes more of a concern for women than for men. Women have more rights than before, definitely, but it is still a concern to this day. It’s important to remember that it’s a free nation and things such as gender, race, and sexuality should never matter, it should always be about the people as a whole.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
