Arguments against the Proposed Solution The proposed solution offers strategic plans through which the Youth Violence issue can be eradicated, but the plan does not show how each of the Youth’s behaviours will be addressed. Since the violence may occur due to many factors and behaviour is one of them, the solution should ensure to provide means through which behaviours can be addressed to eliminate the violence. As a counter-argument to the opposition, it is important to note that organizations such as Looking Glass provide various therapies that help the troubled youth to change their behaviours and thus improve their lifestyle if they have been violent. As a result, the solution is not directly aimed at targeting these troubled youth, but it only provides help to the individuals who may be affected by drug abuse and issues of social discrimination. Conclusion The Community Based Organizations in Eugene, Oregon, United States of America have the mandate of ensuring that the Youth in the region stop conflicting with each other by involving them in most of their activities through teamwork. Moreover, the solution is expected to bring about reduced idleness in the area since the youth will be involved in community-development activities which are important. Therefore, Youth Violence should reduce over time as the Community Based Organizations integrate their practices and involve more of the Youth in their activities.
