4- Applying systems thinking to poor performance in academic studies could include examining the persons learning style, habits, time management, and things that contribute to procrastination. You can examine how each thing affects the others. If a person does well learning hands on but is relying on solely reading when studying for an exam, you can expect them to be easily distracted and not retain much information. This will in turn have an expectation of receiving a poor grade. If you were to apply systems thinking to problems with a friend or family member, this would involve examining the aspects of the relationship you have with them. Then you would examine how those aspects directly impact the relationship itself.
