Current Trends of Industrial and Organizational Psychology Technology-Enabled Training and innovation are two sets of models that relate to organizational psychology whereby innovation refers to the process through which wonderful products and services are derived from ideas. Technology-enabled training enables the organizational employees to be well informed with the current ideas and knowledge that they can apply for better performance (Riggio, 2017). If effectively applied, there two models can ensure god leadership and effective change management process within the organization. Technology- Enabled Training is an emerging trend with the most impact on the workplace and can be applied in the practice of industrial psychology. It involves applying the use of technology or training the employees on the current modern technology to ensure better organizational performance. How Trend Can Be Applied To an Aspect of Industrial Psychology The trend can be applied in an organization to an aspect of industrial psychology in that using modern technology, the organization can come up with effective job evaluation and effective training methods thereby leading to better performance of the organization (Rosanas,

Technology also provides a better opportunity through the internet to determine the best way of carrying out job analysis and also the training of employees. Innovation is a current and emerging trend with the most significant impact on the workplace and can be applied in the practice of organizational psychology. Innovation is the process of changing an idea into a good or service (Riggio, 2017). It is important to an organization since, through it, the organization can come up with quality products than those of the competitors thereby enhancing its constant growth. Additionally, innovation provides an opportunity for growth among the employees through the creation of new ideas. Innovation can be applied to an aspect of organizational psychology in various ways for instance, in terms of group dynamics, it enhances good relation among the staff since thorough innovation, they to come up with an idea and share it out so that they as a team can come up with a better information form the idea which can then be used for the benefit of the organization. Additionally, it creates a good leadership style since innovation within an organization is a function that involves all employees from management up to the lower staff. Conclusion In conclusion, organizational psychological theories and models are very important as they play a major role in enhancing better performance of the organizations, for instance, personality and humanistic theories can assist in ensuring there is good working condition and relation within the organization since they are ethics oriented. Innovation and Technology- Enabled Training are also other important models that assist in enhancing better performance and constant growth within the organization.
