And because of this, obese women entering pregnancy are at higher risk for < miscarriage < gestational hypertension < preeclampsia - the most common hypertensive disorder of pregnancy, < gestational diabetes < C-section. And when they have cesarean sections are more likely to have wound complications such as infections and wound dehiscence.
