impatient with people when it comes to common sense issues especially. It baffles me how things that are supposed to be common sense for people end up being rocket science. Especially at work, I can get the most frustrated with my associates because everything we do, from open to closing the shop, never changes and somehow, they forget how to properly do it. Every time I open the shop the next morning after one of my associates closes, I come in aggravated because

she will leave a couple lights on, shop not straightened, dressing room doors open, and hangers left on the desk. If she was new I would understand that it takes time to remember all the steps, but the fact that she has been here for over a year is beyond me. My results from the survey were not surprising but enlightening. I think I could work on being less competitive because not everything has to be a competition even though I think competing makes things more fun. I want to focus more on setting goals for myself, not to outdo someone else, but to focus more on my own future. As for work involvement, I need to take a step back as I exert myself too much when my manager should be the one handling situations as well as I do not always receive acknowledgement for going above and beyond what is asked of me. I want to refocus on searching for a career job after graduation and preparing for the “real world.” Last, hostility and impatience to me are regarded closely together and I need to allocate more time for myself to reset and relax.
