comparison between two variables, the fact that I solely buy. Again, every student faces difficulty in understanding some of these representations, but with continuous training, they overcome these limitations. Response to Kel It is true just as states by Kel that using multiple representations to teach linear functions and their relationship has numerous benefits. I concur with Kel that students must understand that most of these multiple representations can be used to represent a similar operation or concept. This is because, in most instances, students think that these representations are used differently each for its purpose in mathematical operations. Thus, I buy Kel's proposal that these use of these representations should start at primary grades so that student familiarize with them. Kel states that graphs and charts provide a visual appearance that enhances understanding of the concept and functions that they present. On the other hand, equations give precise information about the values used in operations and function. And these are the reasons why these representations make mathematical operations appears more straightforward. Again, Kel found the growth pattern in squares confusing but understood the concept after attending lectures and engaging in discussions.

What students are saying

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
