Did anything from the film conflict with anything you’ve learned so far? I cannot think of anything that has conflicted with what I’ve learned so far. Write at least one paragraph summarizing your own reaction to this film. What did you
find most interesting? What questions were raised in your mind while watching the film? Does this film make you think about changing anything in your daily life? Explain. I knew that high fructose corn syrup was in a lot of the foods and drinks that we consume today, but I was shocked on just how much it is in. It is a major part of our lives and we do not even know it. One question that came to me throughout the video, is since we know this form of farming is not the best for humans, why continue to do it? Yes, it is cheaper and that is what America wants, but are we really going to knowingly shorten our lives by continuing down this road? It is hard to change anything in your daily life and routine, but I think it is necessary to start watching how much corn syrup you are actually consuming. It is not bad in small amounts, but it is so hard to cut back on it. I do think that it is possible though.
