Therefore, by offering the customers lower quality products than expected, in addition to overcharging, is against deontological ethics, and, therefore, translating to an ethical problem. This theory advocates for doing what is right to the fellow human and avoiding the wrongs at all costs. All actions must be carried out of good will to qualify be moral and ethical. However, the act described above is based on self-interest and hence unethical. For an activity to have ethical worth, for it to indicate a good will, the activity must be performed for duty’s sake- and not for some other purpose, such as worry of being penalized. Therefore, this is depending on purpose alone, which is dissimilar to Aristotle’s idea that values is depending on individual instinct. Kant desired ethical concepts that do not rest on unforeseen
