The Market and Our Competitive Advantage In major cities, including Houston, there is an abundance of pet lovers who work all day and cannot give their pet the attention that they want. This opens a wide market for Wagz to conduct business. One of the advantages Wagz has over other pet cares, is our emphasis on quality. We only select the best fit for employees, and ensure competitive wages. Each prospected team member is extensively screened and trained. Our availability and facility are included in this to make us the best service around. We want our Wagz dogs to be as happy as their owners! Financial Projections The salaries for each co-owner would be $35,000 a year, after the initial startup year. This number has room to grow after the first three years. On top of this, we will have up to four part- time employees, as well as four full-time employees. Our initial projected sales are $250,000, with a projected growth rate of minimum 8% per year for our first location. We currently have many prospected clients lined up, and will aggressively add to this list over the first few months that we are open. We are seeking $80,000 in startup expenses for our first year.
