Based on your table or graph, what is the answer to your research question? (4) Based upon our data, we would say that yes, the distance of light does effect photosynthesis. 10. What evidence from the table or graph supports your answer to the research question? (4) Based upon our data it took only two minutes for the leaves that were closest to the light to float. Then it took about 20 minutes for the leaves that were 50cm away to float. And lastly the last beaker that was 100 cm away from the light never floated to the top. With this evidence that we have it just shows that the closer the leaves are to the light the faster it will float and start to produce photosynthesis. 11. Compare your results to other groups. a. If other groups got different results than you, what do you think explains those differences? (2) Most of the class got very similar results of having the closest beaker produce photosynthesis faster. However, there was a group that had the complete opposite of ours and the beaker that was furthest away took the least amount of time to produce photosynthesis. I think what explains the differences is that different groups used different materials on there solutions. For example, the group that got different results than ours used a cover over some of their beakers.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
