Responsibility The first Signature Theme I was given after completing my strengths assessment was responsibility. CliftonStrengths (2019) mentions that the “responsibility theme forces you to take physical ownership for anything you commit to, and whether large or small, you feel emotionally bound to follow it through completion.” I was not surprised that responsibility was my top

4 TASK 1: PERSONAL LEADERSHIP EVALUATION signature theme because I have continuously been defined as a responsible person throughout my life. My blue-collar work ethic and desire to hold true to my good name have continuously driven me to be more responsible and completely dependable. I believe this result indicates that I am an ethical and dependable leader. Intellection Intellection was the second Signature Theme I was given after completing my strengths assessment. Second to being responsible, I thrive in any opportunity to grow intellectually. Mental stimulation of any kind assists with pushing me along in my day to day routine. I believe this theme can indicate a plethora of things about me as a leader. It describes that I enjoy thinking and mental activity, but depending on my other strengths it can be a serious downfall because it doesn’t indicate what I am thinking about (CliftonStrengths, 2019). Personally, I thrive in an environment where I am using my intellection to problem solve, develop a new path, or understand another individual on a more personal level. Therefore, I believe this theme suggests that I am a well thought out and thorough leader. I enjoy diving deep into a situation to learn as much information as possible to solve or work through the problem in the most effective way. Belief After completing my strengths assessment, the third Signature Theme I was given was belief. I hold a strong belief system that provides deep rooted core values in myself. This theme was no surprise when I read through my assessment. My beliefs “give my life meaning and satisfaction” (CliftonStrengths, 2019). In my opinion, success goes beyond money and prestige. I believe a successful leader is one that is dependable and is one that you can always turn to at any moment.

My beliefs and level of responsibility tie together in a way that makes me easy to trust and depend on as a leader and a follower. I pride myself in all that I do, therefore my work must have some sense of meaning and value in my life. These core values guide my sense of direction and keep my priorities consistent. Realtor The fourth Signature Theme I was given was realtor. CliftonStrengths (2019) describes this theme as my “attitude toward my relationships.” I have the tendency to shy away from meeting new people and pull closer to those that I’ve already established some type of relationship with. I can turn on my personality and meet others easily when I need to, but it ends up being an uncomfortable time for me internally. Once I make a connection with someone, I
