anyone else in that respect. Young adults, working parents, everyone has internet and can enjoy the benefit of taking an online course in the hours when they are available, around their other responsibilities.Students-student collaboration and student-instructor interaction can be incorporated into the holographic technology. Similar to the way Skype and FaceTime shares the faces of callers, I suggest we develop a way to use the holographs within those applications. For example, recall the volcano holograph mentioned earlier that is affected by breath and touch. What if you and your instructor could share that experience? What if a whole class could? 10 students could be walking around the volcano together, each seeing the results of each other’s effects on it. The instructor could be engaged with the students and addressing questions in real time. This type of technology could be delivered while each of the participants are in their own locations (homes orschools) anywhere in the world. The interactivity and human connections are wrapped up with the online learning module. The possible negative effects of such a technology could be injuries to students who get hurt while focused on a holograph. They could fall down stairs, walk into sharp objects, etc. All in all, it could solve the loss of connection with each other and a teacher, but many safeguards would be needed to protect the students.mLearning is important for its convenience, especially for working people. They usually have the devices needed just not the time to attend traditional classroom courses. For them the courses may be at a university or for continuing education in their careers. In workplaces, insteadof using the mobile device to deliver training, the mobile device can record the knowledge or the skills the employee already has. As a skill is sensors by the device or purposefully demonstrated,
the device can record it. Plus, a real-time supervisor anywhere in the world could be watching and advising too. This type of online skills assessment can save the company, the employee and everyone money and time by proving that the person already has the skill and does not need to take a course of study to learn it or prove they know it. The mobile device records the date and time the skill was completed during the course of the workday and this serves as the training record. This type of technology may not be that hard to develop. Perhaps an app can record with the mobile device’s camera into an app, and the app can send the training experience to a Learning Management System administered by the employing company.CONCLUSIONWhile it is clear that education is changing, the changes are so rapid that we can barely predict what will come next. Online learning takes many shapes, from wikis and blogs that are unstructured and often unchecked for accuracy, to formal mobile courseware created with accepted instructional design methodology and learning techniques. Higher education was the
