Multiple Means of EngagementThe instructor and students will read-aloud J.K Rowlings biography that was selected by the instructor. Students will begin to record their information to Bio-Cube Planning sheet (Print Out or Electronic )The instructor will lead students into providing for personal background (Side 1) and Personal traits (Side 2) allowing additionally resources Students with special needs:Background knowledge Recall what they previous learned Visual Aid (Smart Broad) Communication devices Materials Computers/Laptop/i-PadInternet access Bio-Cube Planning Sheet Biography.comMLB.comPen/PaperMultiple Means of Expression Formative and summative assessments used to monitor student progress and modify instruction.Have students share with their partners an oral summary that is based on the information they have just entered and then share and discuss their Bio-Cube and summary with another group of students. The goal of these discussions is for students to share the information they have learnedwith other students as well as serve as practice in speaking and listening skills.The students will aloud within their group their oral summary, based on the information they entered in their Bio-Cube. Assessments goal for students share the information they have learned from other students. More importantly students will work on speaking and listening skills.Students will be placed in groups. More students will have the opportunity to learn from group instruction, technology instruction, and direct instruction within a rotation model.Direct Instructions: Instructors will use the smart broad and read aloud bio on J.K Rawlings
