Curriculum design needs to match the learners outcomes to be successful. IncrementalismIncrementalism is a new term in my vocabulary. Incrementalism is defined as “ belief in or advocacy of change by degrees; gradualism. It is a style that utilizes small changes over time (Williams, 1986). This method of change is done by people everyday without realization of the term. It is very important in curriculum design especially if the curriculum change is complex and needs to be done over time (Ornstein, & Hunkins (2013).PerturbationsThis terminology is based around change. Any change is difficult for an organization, especially when dealing with curriculum design and changing a curriculum (Ornstein, & Hunkins, 2013). This term is important to curriculum design due to if the design is not handled well or the curriculum design is not a workable design the change process could end up failing.
