6. What can you conclude from looking at figure 1.1? From figure 1.1, Ican gather that driving while having a conversation on the phoneeffects your driving performance. I can also gather that having aconversation with a passenger does not effect your driving.7. Based on the Research Summary on Distracted Driving, developyour own research question and hypothesis that is related to thetopic. This should be something that researchers could study next tolearn more about the topic of Distracted Driving. Tips: the researchquestion identifies what the study will focus on and guides theresearch process. The hypothesis is based on the research question. Itis a statement that makes a prediction about the relationship amongthe variables in the study (you can use If-Then statements). My
research question would be: How does having a kid(s) in the car effectdriving? My hypothesis would be : Driving while having kids in the carnegatively effects the focus of the driver.Step 4 -Most high schools raise awareness about drunk driving and thedangers that it brings. In my high school, they held a pep rally in whichthey brought drunk goggles for the students to use. My classmatesand I then got to test how the drunk goggles affected the things wedid. In the Drews, et al. study, they used a driving simulator to show
