This can affect a person by them not being able to access or participate in things.2.Education and employment can contribute to social wellbeing by helping address barriers imposed by culture and society. 3.Being apart of a community can contribute to social wellbeing by giving a person a sense of belonging, as well as their personal identity. It helps establish who they are in relation to others.4.Volunteering and having hobbies and person interests contributes to a person’s social wellbeing by increasing a person’s emotional wellbeing by enhancing self-worth and perception of contribution.Part B. 1.Dmitri’s social network are – -Family – his mother who he visits twice a month for lunch ‘-Friends – Paul his neighbour -Community members – supported living environment, Jade his support worker 2.I could assess Dmitri’s level of social inclusion, exclusion and isolation by his schizophrenia which can make it hard for him to experience social exclusion and isolation. His support worker jade and his friend Paul can increase his social inclusion by assisting him in the public – taking him to appointments and social outings.3.A strategy to promote community participation and connection to extend the depth or breadth of Dmitri’s current social network by identifying goals and working together to break into small goals. Be flexible, and creative in your approach that will provide a range of opportunities to participate in community activities. 4.I could support and regularly review social inclusion strategies by discussing with Dmitri once a month how he is going and review the plan for effectiveness, such as did he complete steps they agreed to? What indications that the goal has been reached? Does he feel more socially integrated?What needs to be changed? What is working and what is not?Topic 4.4A. Practice task 19.1.One emotional strength is positivity, trigger is self-doubt and one challenge is mental health.2.Self-care is linked to a person’s emotional wellbeing as it can avoid triggers and challenging situations.3.Support systems and relationships affect a person’s emotional wellbeing as they help a person address challenges, such as grief and depression. They can also help a person commit to a sustain emotional wellness goals.
