compensation plan, and putting in place a new human resource forecast plan. Creating a Recruitment and Retention Plan Recruitment and retention plans are very important to any organization. A retention program is most effective if you recruit employees who are likely to stay in the first place. Starting with a good team is essential to minimizing turnover (Umiker, 1989). The company would want to develop strategies to recruit the best talent and include new tools and sources to recruit those individuals. Moreover, they could use services such as zip recruiter or indeed to locate potential candidates to ensure they are hiring the right talent. Then, introduce a new retention plan. The cost of turnover can be costly and that is an expense the company will want to keep at a minimal.

HR Project Plan 11 Introducing a Training and Development Program Training increased the ability of employees to contribute more to quality improvement by enhancing their understanding of business operations and goals (Breeden, 2002). The company needs to focus on hiring a trainer to develop a new program within the company. This will not only help the company grow but it can also help lower turnover within the company. Motor and More Inc. will be hiring many employees to meet demands and not all these employees will remain with the company. However, with proper training you will create happier employees and that will cause them to stay a lot longer. Employees don’t like to feel like they don’t know how to do their jobs or feel like they are inadequate at helping the consumers. We want to build their confidence and get employees started off on the right foot. Developing a Compensation Plan Motor and More, Inc. need to develop a compensation plan to attract experienced job applicants to the company. They will need to decide what’s the best package to put together for new employees. Whether it will be merit pay for the work they have done based on last year’s performance, incentives and bonuses, which can also be used as a way to reward yearly performance. Commissions for certain employees who are able to get new contracts or increase sales is another way properly compensate employees. They can even take a look at things like on the spot awards that could be tied to their performance that day. It is a way to show employees gratitude for the work they have done. Compensation pay is a great way to lure new employees to a company and retain currently employees and is a great way to support the company’s new strategy. New Human Resources Forecast Plan As business goes, so goes the area of human resources planning. It, too, is becoming more streamlined and more focused on immediate issues (Chuler, R., & Walker, J. (1990). With the high demand for products produced by Motor and More, Inc., the company needs to put

HR Project Plan 12 together a strong plan to ensure they don’t go over labor cost. With the company doing a mass hiring to fill so many positions they need to ensure they can keep up with the cost. Furthermore, new managers will be managing new employees and want to make sure they have the right resources to not go over the cost. Creating a forecast that everyone can follow will help save the company millions of dollars and keep everyone on the same track.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
