I imagine that this can create a connection between an employee and their boss and/or manager. The module videos and PowerPoint slides went hand in hand with the reading because they focused around the Onboarding process of organizations with new employees. One fact that Professor Finch included in his PowerPoint was that “New employees who go through a structure onboarding program are 58% more likely to be with the organization after 3 years” (Bauer). That alone is a great reason why all companies should implement personalized Onboarding programs to their organization, because this will increase their employee retention rate also give new employees a good impression. The article that Professor Finch provided, “Onboarding New Employees” helped enhance the material from the PowerPoints. The article went through how there are three levels of on boarding on how the Proactive onboarding level hits the all four C’s when it comes to the different aspects of the process which are Connection, Culture, Clarification, and Compliance.
