often we see that the goals set by centralized planning support the preferences of those making the rules, since it is impossible to plan for a single end in a society. It would be unfair to say we can never change our rules; the world is not a static model, people's behaviors are radical and represent individual preferences, which you cannot standardize. The authority of rules is what keeps societies functioning efficiently, so we must put good faith in our rules. The issue is when we allow un-capacitated authority to blatantly transgress from their own rules in order to obtain a better outcome for themselves. This leaves it up to individuals, to coordinate by anticipating each other’s actions and acting in their best interest while not infringing upon others, therefore working for the good of the group while attempting to maximize their own utility. In a dominated society, it is up to us as individuals to hold morals closely and recognize when our institutions are indulging in self-governing behaviors; remembering always to never put too much or too little trust in our institutions, or in our models.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
