The stakeholders in Green Global Books are : The Publishing Company The University They both have a vested interest in the success and the completion of this project . They are affected by : Standardization , quality , reliability , punctuality ,and time restraints . Project stakeholders Production phase c) Why is it important to have a defined project scope? Why is it important to make sure there is agreement about the scope and what will be done in producing each eBook? Having a scope for the project will help avoid any challenges that might be faced during the process. Project scope includes what is important and what is not important in addition to controlling what to add and what to remove from the project. Helps in estimating the time and coat of the project without having a scope there would not be w baseline to begin with. In addition ; project scope will prevent scope creep which a big problem for the organization , which causes a lot of bad effects . d) What kinds of information would you want supervisors to have available to them in the Manage Production phase? Why? Supervisors should know lots of information to help keep the track of the project , and to be prepared for any risk , especially if he know the limited resources and limited abilities . supervisors should also know Information related to the production, if there is going to be any delays what are the alternative actions that would be taken into account, having a plan b. budget also should be known well by the supervisors.
e) Do you think developing a standard job template would be useful for Global Green Books? Why? What advantages could it give them in planning work? Yes for sure it will be useful ,because it will provide too much benefits and it have some advantages . first of all it will save a lot of time instead of spending time on doing a template which is a necessity in this field. Secondly, it provides guidance to the team and direct them to the right successful path. f) What other information, if any, would you like to see included in the standard job template? Why? In my opinion , employees must get all the information that he/she may needs to contact the references and draw out the best recommendation .giving employees more chance to give ideas and decisions about the right way of doing their job , may encourage them to perform better , and they can even create more profitable ideas . ** a) What are the major phases of work for making an EBook ? Each EBook needs to have a separate different job in order to follow up and prepare the list for each one , so each task should be assigned to each worker . Each EBook purpose should be defined. b) What are the steps in each phase ? First , the topic should be defined , and then the table of contents followed up with defining the target of the book , with keeping in consideration the cover page and the number of pages .
