price of the snack which to him turned to be a bit high, the waitress jumped and replied that; “you Koreans always like to complain all the time.” To me, this clearly shows how some people in the modern society ignorantly classify people based on their race. It is not in order to discriminate fellow citizens based on their race, religion, skin color or language. In true sense, the growth and also the diversification of the population of Asian origin in the population of Americans has been very good. It is clear the fact that Asian Americans have come out as the fastest growing racial group in America. For a fact, in the 1980s, the school aged going students of Asian American origin doubled and it is expected to even increase more come 2020. Therefore, the society as well as the schools should realize that they need to answer some questions like; what they know and what they can possibly learn from Asian Americans (Lopez, Ruiz & Patten, 2017). In conclusion, it is important to note the fact that racism is something of the past. People should also be made aware that, being or coming from a certain geographical region is not anybody’s making. With the strongest terms possible, discrimination based on race, color or language should be discouraged. This is because; many people from different environs and races will be the ones who will ensure diversity which in turns contributes to development of nations. It is also important to understand that discrimination is inhuman and is unacceptable before the eyes of God. There is need to respect each other as creatures created by God.
