I learned that if you didn’t want anyone finding out what you have done, you better not do it. I also learned the importance of a life. I grew up knowing that I was needed and could really make a difference in the world. We all know that growing up, our friends have a huge influence on our choices and beliefs. My friends were the kind of friends who would never consider taking away a life. I had a couple friends who got pregnant in high school. Abortion was never an option. They never even considered it. Even though they knew the disappointment their parents, and even the community would feel, they took responsibility. They realized that they were expecting a child because of their choices. Knowing they couldn’t let the baby suffer because of their mistake, they carried the baby the full nine months. Their examples made me realize that no one else is responsible for your fault. No one, especially the baby, should feel the consequences. They understood that having an abortion would have long-term effects on their life, future family, and their conscience.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
