Course Learning Outcomes 1. Describe and calculate the taxation of business income, deductions and accounting methods. 2. Describe and calculate the tax effects of property acquisition, cost recovery, and disposition. 3. Describe the various forms of business entities and the taxation of each. 4. Compute a corporation's taxable income and tax liability. 5. Describe and calculate the taxation of corporate distributions, both liquidating and non-liquidating. 6. Describe and calculate the Alternative Minimum Tax. 7. Describe and calculate the taxation of partnerships and S corporations. 8. Describe the taxation of business entities at the state and local level. 9. Describe and calculate the taxation of gifts and estates.
