residents who live in the area are students and young adults. They are sometimes seen utilizing the motorized scooters to get around town because of its convenience. I would have done the same thing because traffic within this area is a nightmare. There are so many vehicles noted traveling back and forth from the main streets to the nearby mall that sometimes it takes 30 minutes just to drive five blocks to the grocery store. However, I do not agree with the bill not requiring adults over 18 years old to wear a helmet, especially when there has been an increase in injuries related to motorized scooters. Reference
