IT includes raw technology such as: Hardware Software Data components IT alone will not help an organisation achieve goals until it is embedded in an information system (IS) IS = IT + people + procedures BIS relates to ‘computers’ much in the same way as Org. studies for example relates to people Org. studies is not human biology!
