Culture is important to the success of the company. Human Resource Managers have to work with leadership to define what is expected and what is considered proper behavior. Performance management programs, recruiting and selection, training and development, and pay and compensation all contribute to the company culture. These levers can be used to implement expectation, proper behavior, and motivation for employees. Employees will not only know job expectations need to be met but will know how to behave properly.
